turbo noise?

I have started to nitice lately that my v8 has been making a turbo (high speed turbine) noise at higher rpm..... I guess it's not good, what could be causing this?

just about every v8 I know does that. That sound is the engine sucking in air. Higher RPM=More Air intake for combustion.

to assure yourself, take the air box off so you can see the throttle body. start the engine, then open the throttle with your hand. even in my 4cyl the sound of it sucking in air is loud.

Some valve trains will make a bit of noise. Did you change the oil recently, or change brands.
