I did a lot of plasti dip on my SRT-4s.. but haven't found the places I'd dip on my CGC.. I have Max Steel, so not sure it would do anything for the look like it does for other colors.

Wow dude. I have been moling over doing my emblems like that on my white altitude. I debased the hood, but the chrome window trim and chrome Grand Cherokee really pop. Is it difficult to peel around the letters or how did the work out.
Congrats on Tron, it's a beaut.

Hey thanks dude, dipping the side emblems isn't so hard but the peel is definitely where you need to take your time. I used one of those micro flat head screwdrivers the kind for glasses to peel in between the letters. I'm tempted to de-badge the front myself and throw another Encom decal in its place lol we shall see. Personally I dig the window trim & handles but my chrome mirror caps are the next chrome to go. +)

One more question. Did you just mask all around the emblem and then have some overspray on the paint around it? That all just peels clean?

Yeah just mask, spray, peel and clean. The overspray buffs right out by hand with micro fiber so there is nothing to worry about there

I started to use a micro screw driver for removing dip from the emblems on mine too, but was concerned that I might scratch the clear coat of I were to catch an edge. I ended up using a tooth pick, which worked very well and I didn't have to worry about scratching anything.
