My buddy just got a 2010 GC SRT8 with 30k miles for $33,000. The guy whom he bought it from is a engineer a Chrysler. Its in mint condition.

And yes, even though the 2012 GC SRT8 might look better,i can't believe how they screwed it up by making it heavier.

Well I think they made a huge mistake with the price look online and there are 80+ for sale. They are not flying off the lots like the WK SRT8. I think many of the early adopters will cringe when they see steep discounts in the future and loosing 20% of their value in the first year.

Disagree. Saw it @ the L.A. Auto Show and it's really impressive - huge exhaust pipes, neat looking seats, and that hood!

But 20K more...no way!!

I see major discounts coming too.

i must say i'm going to have to disagree with you guys. i currently have 6 SRT8 grand cherokees on order and several people asking about them. we have a porsche dealer as well, and people frequently compare the two, although the porsche doesn't come close to the SRT in options or overall comfort and style. we were initially shocked at the prices of them as well, but to the people that are buying them, it hasn't seemed to effect them as much. and if you think about it, with all the new equipment that the 12 has over the 10, the styling, the motor, the feel, it's really justifiable. a fully loaded 2010 grand cherokee SRT8 stickered for just about $50k. $65 is every option on a 2012. the 470 hp V8 keeps them coming in!

what you guys aren't posting is that there are $10,000 worth of options to add. that's important to know. there only used to be about $3k worth of options.

Yes in the USA in oz you can put $40k to $30k on the jeep ;( I already have a 70th limited a I got her for $65k and it would be only $45k in the USA ! And yes in oz the 70th is a limited and the aus $ is $1.03 to $1.00 USA so it sould not be that high but it will be !
