2012 MY Vehicles

JeepCares,
What does "2012 MY Vehicles" signify? Near the end of the optional equipment list for my Jeep lists "MY:2012", so I assume this TSB applies to my 2012 Hemi WK2, but I'd like to know what it stands for.
Thanks

My 2012 is definitely exhibiting the symptoms of this TSB.

I am going to get this one done at my local dealer this week and report back.

When my vehicle is driven around a corner (slow for turn at light, make turn, then accelerate out) the vehicle doesn't seem to know what gear it should be in for proper acceleration.

I make a right turn heading home every day from work.

Prior to making this turn, I am driving approximately 40 to 45mph. To make the turn, I slow to around 20-25 MPH and once straight I hit the gas and all I hear is motor with minimal acceleration. Vehicle feels like it is in 4th gear when it should be in 2nd.

Hoping this fixes the problem as it's very annoying and also happens when slowing for a red light that suddenly turns green, try to accelerate and it seems I am in too high of a gear.

Please post on wether this TSB helps your shudder issue.
I won't be going in for a few weeks.

Thanks in advance

Is this Bulletin the answer to Star Case S1118000038 and the Fish Bite issue?

To clarify, my WK2 doesn't have shudder or fish bite with the driveline.

The problem I am hoping the TSB fixes is the fact the vehicle has no idea what gear it's supposed to be in when accelerating after braking for a light or after making a turn.

Vehicle goes in Thursday so I should know after a drive cycle.

Has anyone here on the forum had the new PCM update done? If so, did you notice a difference in the shift performance between the 3 & 4 gears. Did the tugging (fish biting) go away?

Ok, I just got the update done. My local dealer is AWESOME. In and out in 20 minutes.

I brought the TSB in and like the last time I had updates I asked them to perform the TSB and got no pushback.

Here is the work order text:

AUTO TRANSMISSION - AS PER TSB ATTACHED TO REPAIR ORDER SOFTWARE UPDATE AVAILABLE FOR VEHICLE CHECK AND PERFORM UPDATE IF APPLICABLE

Software issues/updates found for PCM and ASCM/updated as requested by the customer.

Performed software updates on the PCM and the ASCM, installed required label, reset all trouble codes associated with procedure, old PCM software #68111691ae new #68111691af, old ASCM software #56029558ae new #56029558ai

My WK2 was last updated with the most recent software builds for the entire vehicle back on May 6.

You can see that Jeep has had a couple updates to the ASCM in between May 2013 and present day (August 1) as the build jumps from ae to ai.

My work is only a couple miles from the Jeep dealer so I can't honestly report back on if the issues I had are fixed or not but I will once I get some drive time with the new software build loaded with this TSB.

FWIW my Jeep is a 2012 WK2 Summit with the HEMI.

Ok wow

Ok I am out on a drive now on roads here in SoCal I drive every day.

All I can say is run don't walk to your dealer and get this TSB done if you have a 2012 WK2 with a V8.

If you ever had power train complaints before, this update fixes them!

More details when I get back home and can post from my computer vs phone.

Was so impressed I had to pull off the side of the road to update you guys.

More feedback after I return from my cruise on PCH.
