Removal of flush roof rails?

I'm probably a bad searcher. Was wondering if anyone has pulled the flush mount rails completely off of the roof to see how they mount? Looking for photos. Are there any Jeep diagrams of it out there?

Look toward the end (post 45) of the "writeup" sticky thread, there are instructions on how to replace them which includes removal and photos.
