Wk Rainsensing wipers and headlights

Hi!

I have my Overland 2015 for 2.5 month and we didn't have "normal" rain in NYC area.
But last week we had it!
And I realized very interesting thing: when rain sensing is on and settings in UConnect configured to turn on headlights with it, it doesn't work! Wipers working fine with rain sensor, but headlights is not on!
But when I turned rear wiper on, headlights came up. Until I turn rear wiper off!
So, how I see, windshield wipers not associated with headlights, only rear.

Is it only my problem, or global?

TIA!

Do you have the headlight switch set to A (automatic)?

Did you let it go for a few minutes? The lights don't come on immediately; it only happens after a certain period of wiper use occurs so that the vehicle knows it's not just a quick bit of water on the windscreen.

With ours it matters how fast the wipers are going as well. The faster they go, the faster the headlights turn on.

Headlights will come on after 5 wipes as long as you have setting correctly and the lights are on automatic.

Hello Papasha,

Unfortunately I could not find any relatable TSBs for your vehicle. Have you contacted your local FCA certified dealership for an appointment yet? If you would like me to look further into this, please private message me you VIN and contact information.

But next rain I'll monitor it and will provide additional info.

Thank you!
