rack and pinion leak

my friend was changing my fog lights to hid lights on my 11 grand cherokee overland and he said it looks like i have a leak from the rack and pinion on the front passanger side. ive never seen any fluid on the ground under my truck. is this a bad thing. truck is still under warranty.
