Push Bar for an '11 GC

I'm interested in putting a push bar on my GC. Anyone know if the front air bag sensors would be affected? I like the look of the Westin brand bull bars. I don't have the extra front crash sensors (just the standard air bag/crash sensors). I can't seem to find much info on it. Thanks!

I put an Aires brand brush guard on mine. I opted for the pieces over the headlights also. Its stainless and won't do much in a front end wreck. But its a good place to throw a few lights and looks good also. Just my .02 cents worth.

Why?

Most are ugly and offer little protection if any. Many will cause more damage in an accident or if you hit an animal or livestock than they prevent. They are worthless and add weight were you dont want it.

Thanks for the feedback! I've been thinking of adding one for looks, but to be honest I have not yet seen a new model GC with one installed (only photos). I'm not in an area where I would hit livestock, but I'm concerned about your comment about it causing more damage in an accident. That seems contrary, but I'm no automotive crash expert. The weight thing makes sense. I haven't seen much in the way of exterior mods for the GC. I like the look of the running boards but they stick out kind of far and I'm guessing I'll bang my shins on them climbing in and out, lol. Maybe I'll just get bigger tires and a CAI, lol.

Shipping weight for my brush guard was 60 lbs. It didn't change my handling at all. As for more damage, yes it’s possible but that’s what I have insurance for. I Plan to add a few emergency lights on mine and take the one off my front window.
