It's not that noticeable in the daytime, or night either, just when it catches light a certain way.
I'm thinking that there is a meaning to the purple color. The anniversary editions have been a tribute to the jeep brand history. Also on this 70th, the seats have a stripe in them that's supposed to look like a military uniform bar pin, as a tribute to all our military service guys and gals.
So 2 things come to mind why purple. First is a tribute to all the female military members. Or second, to pay tribute to the purple heart.
Anyway, I kind of like it. Although orange, green, and purple is sure an interesting interior color palette.
