Seems like a good deal. Opinions?
My local dealer was offering a Laredo X with options for about $2k more… so yeah pretty good deal!

2012 JGC Limited Maximum Steel 4x2, 5.7, Black leather. MSRP is 40,675. Dealer is offering to sell it for 36,310. OTD 38,916. Good deal? I'm countering with 35,500 to put me otd around 38 or so. I'm curious to hear everyone's opinion on the deal. Thanks

Not sure if I can get some other dealer(s) to match or beat it with some better incentives (oil, gas, etc...)
After pitting dealers against each other, I think I'm done with spending my time. $42300 plus 6 oil changes.

You are getting a Summit, for under MSRP on most Limited's in my area... most are at $43k. Plus 6 oil changes at around $47 with tax included for a hemi, so an additional $282 there. Pretty good deal!

Edit: Might I also add, that at $42k there is nothing touching the Summit in terms of luxury and ability.

I am back into a Grand Cherokee after 4 years away from the Jeep brand. Very impressed with the WK2, finally convinced me to give up on Lexus and BMW and save some $$ instead w/ Jeep.

My original deal was as follows;

2012 Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4
True Blue Pearl Exterior, Black Cloth Interior
Preferred Package 26E
All Weather Package
Uconnect w/ Bluetooth option
MSRP $33,025 sale price before ttl $29,800

I then decided to add Katzkin Leather seats w/ seat heaters and factory tow package, all installed by dealer. New price before ttl $30,400 (I got both extras included for $600 more). Still debating which color to go with for leather option. I like the two tone look so it won't be black, thinking a dark grey to match the headliner. Decent deal (hope so) ??

Hey, thanks! I have 2 other dealers that want to try and beat it, but I'm not worrying about if they can or can't at this point.

My wife and I both really love the car and the 4x4 will be a nice change sicne her current pathfinder isn't 4WD which makes our trips to Cloudcroft a little painful when getting to our cabin in the mountains.

Hopefully in the next week to 10 days we'll be jeep owners.

2013 JGC Limited price paid

Long time lurker in these forums....Thanks for all the great commentary with everybody sharing their prices....hope the numbers I provide below can help somebody out.

I got a price of $36,279 for an ordered 2013 Limited with 20" rims and tow pkg. This price is before tax, title, and reg and included the $500 rebate for requesting a brochure online. If any additional rebates are released by Jeep between now and the time I pick up the vehicle I get to take advantage of them as well.

I have access to Affiliate pricing through work so I was able to see the "invoice" price, Employee price, and Holdback values on the build sheet. Numbers are below:

$41,610 MSRP
$39,209 Invoice
$38,817 FFP (Friends & Family/Affilaite price)
$37,324 EP (Employee price)
$1,221 HB (Holdback)

My Price is:
$36,879 vehicle
-$500 Handraiser TDM
- any other additional rebates in effect when I take delivery
$36,279 Final price excluding doc fee, Taxes, Title

I did not have to haggle one bit, and had only spent 20 minutes with the salesman. This price beat all the other dealers by $2,000 and the sale was a no brainer for me. The salesman was upfront and earned my respect. Put my deposit down after thinking it over for 5 minutes and in 6-8 weeks my wife will be driving a new Jeep and I get her 2004 Limited V8! Can't tell you where I got it but I will tell you it was purchased in CT from a high volume dealer.

I tried real hard to give my business to 3 other small Jeep dealers in the area but all they would give me was 1% below invoice and would not budge beyond that claiming they would lose money if they sold it to me for less. I Told one guy if he took off $500 I would sign.....he refused and counter with slush mats! Feel bad for the little dealers and in my book a small profit is better than no profit....but hey, to each his own. Not sure how they can compete when the big guys are blowing them out of the water like this.

So, just wanted to say thanks to everyone and that the deals are out there....most of it has to do with getting the right salesman on the right day, at the right dealership. But being prepared, doing your research, and knowing exactly what you what so you don't waste the salesman's time either helps.

Here's hoping jeep releases the $1000 rebate for the 2013's by the time I pick mine up!

Slickrick can you provide the specs of your 2013 Limited? V6 or V8, 4x2 or 4x4? Also how do you obtain the Handraiser TDM? I requested a brochure online but didn't see any mention of the 500 discount.

Thanks and congrats on your final price and new Jeep!

Sure thing..sorry bout that.

2013 JGC Limited 4WD V6
Mineral Grey/ Black Interior
+20"rims
+tow pkg

The Handraiser TDM was obtained by requesting a brochure from the website and stating I was looking to purchase in the next 30 days. I still have not received the brochure or Rebate in the mail but it was in the system when the dealer looked my name up. I had requested it probably about 2 to 3 weeks ago so it appears in the system a lot quicker that you will get it in the mail.

Signed the paperwork today for a 2012 Overland Summit in Winter Chill.

MSRP $50115
Price with Affiliate Deal, $1000 incentive and $250 dealer Facebook Coupon was $45256.
Dealer also beat my PenFed 1.99% 60mo financing by a half point with 1.49% for 60mos.

My trade-in value bit the big one due to an accident back in 2007 that triggered the air bags, but I'll live...

Stock Photo (I'll post real ones in the sticky once I have the car in-hand this coming week)

2012 Altitude V6 4x4 with AWCG and NAV:

MSRP: $39,810
EP: $35,694
- Jeep Cash: $1000
- Mail Brochure Coupon: $500 [DO THIS IF YOU ARE BUYING A JEEP ANY TIME SOON. Jeep.com, find the brochure request thing, click the "buying within 30 days" and they'll mail you a $500 coupon. You don't even have to wait for it to be mailed, they can look you up in the system at the dealership and see the coupon.]

= Total paid: $33,819

Includes wheel locks, 4 oil changes and 4 tire rotations. Detailed it plus a full tank of gas (mentioned this because some people said they only got 1/4 tank or whatever).

Went to GO Chrysler Jeep in Golden, CO. Highly recommend Fred as he was great to work with, great guy. I harassed him by email for over a month and it was easy to work with and wasn't pushy in any way.

I'm happy with the price paid (just about $6k off of sticker) and I got 2.74% financing which is pretty damn good too. I am pumped.

Closest dealer was 2K higher and would not budge over the course of five days for exact same car (different color).

Cheers and first post!
