PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING!!!!!! Rules and Guidelines!!!!

A lot of us rarely leave this forum. Some of y'all may not have read the Rules and Guidelines on the main page which there is a link below however it is the same thing as in this thread. They are in place to keep it civilized and enjoyable. Please read the Rules and Guidelines below now, if you have not already, so that the WK2 forum can run even better than it already is. Thanks everyone!

Jeep Forum Rules and Guidelines

Golden Rule - Respect Yourself & Others
- Respect yourself and respect others, or else you will be banned without warning and the ban will never be released.

- We cannot stress enough how important it is to SEARCH this forum for answers before starting a new thread. Being LAZY is not an excuse. This forum has been around for some time and countless topics have been discussed multiple times. If you do not find what you're looking for after running a search, change your wording and search again, and again, and again. Google is a great tool as well. Check the Stickied threads prior to posting. The search function may not always work but manually looking around never fails. There is no reason to start a thread about wheels and tires as there are three (3) dedicated to it.
Searching Jeep Forum

Before starting a thread for a picture request look through the couple Stickies on the top of page 1. If no luck then start a thread however if you are lazy and start one anyway it will be deleted, moved or merged.

Keep This A Family Forum
- Topics allowed include anything PG-13 and down (at moderators discretion) No X-Rated pictures, jokes etc. No racist remarks, gender remarks, nor sexual preference slams etc. You will be banned without warning. There will be zero tolerance on this.

No Swearing or Flaming
- Swearing (including defeating the automatic censor, more on that below) flaming, and slamming will not be tolerated. Posts that do not fall within the guidelines of this site will either be edited for content or will be deleted all-together. This is your only warning.

Censor Bypassing
Censor bypassing is when a member deliberately try’s to fool the vBulletin Word Censor. The Word Censor is in place to censor obscene words that may not be acceptable to certain visitors. Remember, JeepForum is a family site, so, the Word Censor is in place to protect children and others that may be offended by obscene words.
-Bypassing the Word Censor by using BB (Bulletin Board) codes to act as a wedge in between censored words (fuck) or by using ALT-#### codes (~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + ` { } [ ] : " ; ' < > , . ? / ect..) will not be tolerated!

Typing in all caps
It is considered shouting or yelling in an internet setting. It is also hard on the eyes thus making it dfficult to read and understand. Typing an entire paragraph or multiple sentences in all caps will result in your thread or post being deleted.

If you are quoting more than one post, please use the multi-quote icon. It has quotation marks and a plus sign. Click the threads to be quoted, which will turn red, then hit the normal quote icon for the last one and go from there in what you need to say. This eliminates replying multiple times right after each other.

Searching Jeep Forum

The "Dead Horses"- "Don't beat a dead horse." Many topics on this forum are considered dead horses that the majority of members are tired of discussing. These topics tend to clutter Page 1 of this forum and can cause more serious threads to be overlooked. They also waste storage space, which slows down the forum and hassles the webmasters. Every one of these topics can be answered by way of the SEARCH function.

As times and members change with this group, some questions may be asked over and over again
- -To those who are new, you can search the online databases for answers to your questions. If you feel the answers found do not satisfy you, please don't hesitate to post your question here.
- - Sometimes the answers you are looking for may be in other sections, check there as well, as many questions that are asked about the Grand Cherokee may also apply to a Cherokee or Wrangler.
- - Don't forget the general sections under "OffRoad Performance" as there is lots of great information in there as well.

No for sale, wanted or trade items in this section
- This includes GROUP BUYS. The thread will be moved to Classifieds if in violation of this rule.

Do Not Pad!
- Please refrain from meaningless posts, one word (or short) non-sense posts. This only serves to clutter the forums.

Locked or Deleted Posts
- If one of your posts is locked or deleted, please do not start another thread dedicated to why it was edited. If you have a problem with your post being locked or deleted, please send a private message to a admin/mod describing the problem.

No Defamatory or Political Signatures
- Leave the polarizing divisive political statements out of your signatures. This is a Jeep Forum and there's no need to push your politics on everyone in every one of your posts.

No Drug or Illegal Related Posts
- Absolutely no threads promoting or condoning illegal drug use or illegal activities.

No Other Website Questions
- Do not post about problems or questions with other websites.

No Raffles or Donation Drives
- Do not use the forum to solicit. Do not ask for monetary help from users. No raffles or donation drives.

No Spam or Advertising Anything!
- Do not advertise your website/product or product/websites you are affiliated with in any way or shape. If a post is deleted and labeled as advertising then we consider it advertising so please do not post it again.

No Private Message Advertising
- Spamming users using private messages will get you banned no matter who you are. Do not mass advertise through private messages.

Leave if You Don't Like It
- Leave the forum if you do not like the website. Staying here only to complain about how you do not like it will only get you banned.

Grow Some Thick Skin
- If you want to participate on an internet forum then grow some thick skin. There are thousands of armchair quarterbacks ready to pick you apart. There is an ignore function through the forum software and in your head. Use it.

Copywritten material
- Posting of copywritten material (such as links to entire FSM's) is not allowed.

Keep your messages on topic
-For this group, that means talking about the Jeep Grand Cherokee (WK2, 2011+) and the problems, desires, capabilities, modifications, ideas and loves / hates that you have about them. The moderators will allow a certain amount of "off-topic" messaging, but please do not push it.

Help Keep This Forum Clean!
Help us moderate the forum, on ever single message on the left side under the name of the person posting you will find an icon that looks like this: on that button will allow you to write a detailed message to the moderator (or if there is no moderator, to the administrators) as to why the message needs to be fixed. Please let us know if it is porn, spam, slamming another user or any other details you feel are relevant.

Your Profile- All registered accounts come with a profile page. Your profile lets you tell a little about yourself, but more importantly, about your Jeep. A completed profile will help other members know what hardware you are dealing with when attempting to solve any problems you post. You may also add your information to your signature, like mine below.

This avoids PMs and posts asking, "Hey nice tires, what are they"?

If any rules are unclear to you or you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask a moderator or admin.

We want everyone to enjoy the forum but a disregard for the rules will get your account suspended and/or banned depending on the severity of the issue.

Noticing a few people posting questions about topics with threads already existing. Mainly about wheels and tires.

Bump as a reminder to search/look around before starting a new thread.
