No way to switch ESC/TCS fully off?

Just went through my WK2 owner’s manual. It seems you can only partially turn off the ESC.
In my old '06 WK, it was possible to either turn it off only partially or also to turn it off completely. This made a HUGE difference in sand driving. The vehicle is twice as capable in sand with ESC FULLY off. I know this from experience. With the WK you could turn it off partially by just momentarily pressing the ESC switch, and fully off by pressing it for a few seconds. It seems this is not possible with the new WK2?
Can anyone confirm this?

Does the Select-Terrain handle that when you pick Sand/Mud mode?

It sort of does. It switches ESC partially off, but for serious sand you need it comletely off.

I have a button that says TCS Off, but do not know the extent of what it does. I also know that sport mode disables the TCS as well
