The newest purchase "raven"

I just finished signing the contract to have my black 2014 Grand Cherokee Laredo E 4x4 built. It should be ready for me by the time I come back from deployment in January. Needless to say I've already jumped the gun and bought a Gibson Exhaust and a K&N CAI. It was on sale and couldn't refrain myself. Next on the list is the RRO2.5" lift and UCA, BWoody extended sway bar links, Pro Comp 7036 18x9 0 offset wheels and a set of Goodyear wrangler duratrac 275/65/18. I have a few months left before returning so I'm holding off to see if any deals pop up between then. Stand by for there should be some pics coming in the near future.

I have the Gibson Exhaust. The sound was better and throttle response was a tad better but the sound was still not aggressive enough. Yesterday I have the second muffler (if that is that it is called) in the middle of the body removed and a Y-Pipe installed. The sound is vastly better and sounds incredible. I will get a video uploaded tonight or tomorrow. Follow my thread below, has all my mods.

And, congrats!

A little update on the progress of raven. The jeep has been built and enroute to the dealership now. Along with that, I have purchased an extensive amount of equipment for it. Now I have to impatiently wait for the parts to be delivered and return stateside from deployment to install all the parts. Pics will be coming in the near future (2 months).

The fiancé just picked up the GC the other day. I'm having her put a few hundred mile on it for the break in period before I install all the parts on. Most of them have are in. now I'm just waiting on the tires, bumper and winch. Everything should be on by the 2nd of jan. Will post more pics as I begin to put them on.

Nice choice on all the goodies. Thank you for your service. Especially during the holidays. I'm guessing you went through the military sales?

Last few parts came in the mail just in I time for Christmas. The only thing is RRO failed to send my winch with everything so I'll have to wait for that. I'll most likely put in the bumper myself when I return from deployment, save me some cash.

Yes I did go through the military to purchase the jeep and I saved a huge amount of money doing so. No reason to thank me. I'm used to not being around for the holidays anymore. I've inly been home one Christmas in the past 6 years.

Just wanted to wish everyone a merry Christmas and enjoy spending time with your families during this time. People take for granted the little moments like this. I sure used too.

On another note. My little nephew was kind enough to install the cold air intake and RRO roof rails and rack for me. Raven is starting to come along.

Well the lift is on now, had the shop had to do some minor trimming to get the duratacs to fit. Over all I'm glad with the overall appearance of it. Windows should be getting tinted within the next few days. After that the last thing to be installed will be my bumper and winch which I'll put in in two weeks.
