New WK2 owner... Travel Link question

Hi all,

Well... I've been looking for a WK2 that fits my budget for a few months now and pulled the plug on a super nice '11 WK2 Laredo X 4x2 a few days ago. Paid $18k and the thing is absolutely loaded. The build data shows Travel Link capability as an included feature... but the 430n has no way to access it. It appears Chrysler issued a service bulletin or recall stating some late '10 to early '11 builds were missing Travel Link and they agreed to update them along with offering an extra year of Sirius for the trouble. Apparently the original owner never did that.

I know this request is really "out there"... but I wonder if Chrysler would honor this offer to later owners such as myself? I don't know if it was an official recall or not.

I can definitely update the radio on my own thanks to all of the web tutorials out there... but that free extra year of Sirius would be awesome. I know I'm dreaming...

SP

I guess the only way for you to find out for sure is to contact a Chrysler/Jeep dealer and ask them.
