New WK2 Overland Owner :) Question for the Gurus...

Hi All,

Just picked up my WK2 Overland (Brilliant Black/Light Frost) yesterday and loving it so far.

Question for you pro's: how can you move the address book that's downloaded from your paired-phone from the default folder to the "in-motion folder" in the HDD so that you can access it while on the move? I've played around with the system in numerous ways and have read through the coles-notes version of the owner's manual (not the full manual -- that's on order) but haven't been able to find the answer...

My headunit is the 730N.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I don't believe so as the address book downloads EVERYTIME the darn phone pairs! You can access the phone book while driving, but it as to be via voice command.

Congrats on your new JC! Welcome aboard!

Thanks OBRN!

As for the phone book question, apparently you have to move your entries from your downloaded/paired phone folder to either the "Default Folder" or the "VR Folder". Once in either of those 2 folders, you can then create a link to those entries in the "In-Motion Folder". The In-Motion only holds up to 5 pages though...and I had to do everything manually which meant a lot of touchscreen touching

Pretty convoluted process if you ask me and not intuitive...oh well...
