I checked my VIN and I see the update as well but no details on what it is actually updating. It does reference Service Bulletin 08-54-16 but I haven't found a copy of that bulletin yet.

I was able to download and install the firmware on my 2015. I'm thrilled to have this feature, it has been a long time coming! Hopefully all of you who are due the update will be able to get it soon.
@ JeepCares Kori: Thanks for posting a description of the enhancements!
@ Jurassic_Jeep: you'll need to have your iPhone connected in order to see the Siri feature pop up on your screen. Mine did not show up until iPhone was paired with UConnect.

It is very easy. Basically, it is a download the file, copy to a USB drive and insert into the USB hub. You will be prompted to initiate the update once you insert the USB drive into the USB hub on the JGC. Then sit and wait. The important thing though is the drive needs to be formatted to FAT32.
The instructions on UConnect are quite good. You can take it to a dealer if you are more comfortable. I've done two updates and I was apprehensive the first time around but it really is pretty easy.
Just updated, wife has an iPhone I have an android, so, we'llsee what differences I encounter. It's my daily driver, sometimes updates are great and usually you never notice . Did see the warning banner is longer...
I downloaded it and installed it today. Tried it with Siri and when I say a command it takes forever for Siri to process it. It's like it keeps listening for me to say more. Very long delay.
If you have a USB stick, you can download the update (if it applies) from our website here: http://www.driveuconnect.com/software-update/, and then update it in your vehicle by plugging in the USB stick. You can also call the Uconnect team 24/7 at 1-877-855-8400, and they can walk you through it, or you can visit your FCA dealer.
This article also states that FCA has made Android Auto available. Is this true? I have a Galaxy s7, and an Ipad Air (but just a wifi version) so I'd love to have android auto. This is shocking to me regardless for the automaker to release such an update. Cadillac promised us all updates in the future when they sold us cars and it turns out at the only way to get an update is buy the 15, the 13's and 14's got screwed even though its the same system.
I really wish they would include android auto in an update. I know the hardware is capable of running it. No reason 2015 shouldn't get an android auto update . Sucks its the only thing I would need to buy out my lease at the end (this way I'm not stuck with behind technology). Love the idea of using your phone as the "BRIAN"and the car as dumb screen
Does anyone know if the update will be available for the 8.4AN here in Australia I just checked using my VIN only version is June 2015 I messaged Jeep Cares but it seems they don't as they did not answer me...
