It's not a failure, but my Summit diesel has started having a harsh shift into 1st when pulling up to a stop. Just as the vehicle stops it feels like somebody hits you from behind at about 1/2 mph. It's worst if you are decelerating quickly.

I started having similar issues with my V6 Limited. Dealer said they couldn't duplicate it but they still called Chrysler and opened a ticket. Looks like a fix, which has been mentioned in other threads, is to replace the valve body. Chrysler is going to call dealer in the morning to help them duplicate and they will rush ship a new part out. Good news is that it seems like Chrysler will step up when it relates to the tranny. Getting it corrected now is key.
