New to site with my new Jeep!

Hello Everyone,

I'm new here as of today and wanted to introduce myself.
I've been a longtime Jeep admirer and grew up driving them. My parents had a 2002 & 2004 GC when I was learning to drive and my first real car of my own was a 96 GC. I was upset that I had to sell my Jeep a few years ago to pay for my first new car.

Yesterday I traded in my 2013 Kia Optima SX Turbo for a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 with Luxury II. So far I love everything about it. I really liked the GC Laredo with Altitude package, but hated the interior and features.

I'm not new to SUVs or 4x4 but this one feels different. I have had 2 Chevy Trailblazers and a GMC Terrain in my lifetime. Some standout features of the GC are the HIDs, LED DRLs, Power Liftgate, Remote start, heat/ventilated seats, and the infotainment.

My other ride is a 2013 Ford Focus ST - so now I have the fast summer car and the reliable winter 4x4. Winter hasn't been fun recently in Western Pennsylvania.

Comments, suggestions, warnings, and greetings are always welcomed!

Welcome. Congrats on your new purchase. Good luck with your Jeep. There's not many "warnings" to worry about. Anything can go wrong at any given time.

I love the look of the 20s on this Jeep.

You should have gotten the ST for added power on the focus, they arent that different price-wise than the titanium.

Forgot to mention I got the Granite Crystal paint. Love it!

After coming from an all black car, i'm looking forward to less visible chips & dirt.

I have True blue with frost interior. Last dark car I buy. Love the car just wish max steel was not so common.

Congrats on the purchase. We like the 18s as well, especially with as many potholes we have around here (and the wife deciding to take a large curb now and then).
