New flowmaster exhaust

Hey guys...got this flowmaster #817575 exhaust installed on my 2011 Jeep WK2 HEMI..couldnt find that many clips of what it sounds like before I purchased it so I hope I can help some of you guys out. I have a K&N 63 Series Intake also. Tell me what you think and if you have any questions I would gladly answer them if I can.

Thanks. I always liked the flowmaster sound, but hated the V8 drone.

Rto187 are you getting a drone from highway speeds. That does sound awesome. Can you show a couple of pics of the exhaust system/ muffler set up. Again sounds great.

Nice sound - I had a K&N air intake and flowmaster on my 02 JGC Limited but the drone inside made it unbearable..my 2012 JGC L 5.7 Hemi is staying stock since it has a nice rumble anyways

This exhaust has no drone as long as the MDS isn't kicking in..it does have a tiny drone at certain highway speeds when that happens but nothing that bothers me. That's the only tiny complaint I have about it. Honestly if the radio is on, it's barely noticeable. I'll take the small mds drone with the way it sounds and performs at all other times. And I'll do my best to get some pics

Don't mean to sound like a noobie, but I'm a noobie lol. What does it mean when you guys say drone?

It's like a continuous humming exhaust noise usually made by aftermarket exhausts

Yeah its a resonance at certain RPMs and engine loads that aftermarket exhausts have (amplifies the sound at certain frequencies). The WK2 V8 it particularly noted for drone at highway cruising speed and it can get very annoying after an hour on the highway. Some are bothered by it more than others, but most eventually get annoyed. Corsa (and the Jeep performance exhaust) are the only aftermarket V8 exhausts that don't drone.
