New 2014 WK2 owner

Hello all...
I am new in here, but I have been reading a lot.
My apologies for my poor english... I can read better than write...
One week with my all new 2014 wk2 V6 Pentastar and very happy, only the mpg is somewhat low... only 15.5 mpg (70 city/ 30 hiway), 90% on eco mode... I hope it will be better when the engine have more milles... only 500 milles now.
Best regards.

How do you drive? I'd give it time for the engine to beak in also.

MPG really depends on driving style. Two things I've noticed:
1. If your main concern is mpg, ALWAYS keep it on eco-mode/default drive mode. Sport-mode not only takes off eco-mode, but also tends to hold lower gears/higher revs unnecessarily.
2. Give the car another 500-1000miles. I averaged about 17-18mpg for my first 1000miles. Now I have 4900miles and average 21-22mpg.
(these numbers are average of 50/50 city/highway)

21-22 mpg is very good news!! Then I must wait to arrive at 5000 miles or so... mine have only 500 miles and the mpg is only 15,5 in eco mode, 70/30 city/highway.
My driving style is very smooth now, because the engine is new... maybe soon when arrive 1000 or 1500 miles I will ask more to the engine and drive in sport mode...
Thank you for your comments!
