Nav went from green to black

The Nav used to show the land and roads on the screen in different colors. Now the land is in all black. I can still see everything but I would rather have it back to green. Also, where do I find the instructions for the nav system in the manual?

Any suggestions?

I'll have to double check the correct sequence however I think if you press the "MENU" button, upper right, you then can adjust the color scheme and/or brightness by pressing another button........ if it's not a brightness issue you may have a bad unit.

That was the issue. It went to night mode somehow. I must have hit something.
