WTH?

Is there a reason you're transporting mice in your center console?

Why am I thinking there are laws against that sort of thing in several states.

Bummer!
Always keep a couple of mouse traps set in the garage near your car - especially if you don't drive it for a while.
...and never leave food in it

Can't be a mouse, even if the mouse was in tip toes would not have reached the console, maybe a squirrel ? If that was a mouse you better wipe the entire car with enzyme-based cleaner.

Did you leave a window or sunroof open while it was parked in the garage? Trying to figure out how a rodent got inside your vehicle.

Man these rodents have some of the finest teeth around, even with a screwdriver would take you sometime to make a hole that big. That console is thick.

I had a complete set of new custom spark plug wires eaten through by the little bastards. We now keep several dCon traps around the inside of the garage.

Gotta watch for cats, racoons and the like keeping inside your engine on cold days. If they don't jump out when you close the door, you may wind up with bloody guts all over the engine compartment.

I would be livid. I caught 2 of those nasty rodents this weekend -- in the garage. Maybe more cold weather is to come?

I've never had a mouse/rat/etc. do something like that to any car I've ever had. Now I'm paranoid lol. At least I never leave food in my car to attract bus/rodents.

I feel a little better. My ins policy covers rodent damage. Dealership estimated cost of around 5k
