Looking at a 2013 WK2, What do I need to be aware of?

So, the wife wants something with more creature comforts than the JK (I get the JK ). She found a 2013 WK2 with most of the bells and whistles that she wants and is the color she wants.

It's a Chrysler Certified with 30K on it. Warranty good until 2019 or 100K.

It's got the 3.6 Pentastar in it so I'm familiar with it. Has the heated leather seats, premium sound, Nav, Uconnect 8.4 and the sunroof.

What are the gotya's on a 2013 WK2 that I should be looking for.

Do an extended test drive and make sure it drives and shifts as you like. Take note of any vibration or rattles. Other than that, its just the typical used car check. Look for oil leaks, check for damage, check the CV boots, check the power steering rack for bulging boots. Check that all the recalls were done. You may want to check the service record for TSBs and if there were numerous service visits. Check the shocks for leaks.

You may want to demand the latest Nav maps, still out of date but better than the original. Check the radio software version for the latest. (I think there is a link in the maintenance sticky thread) .

Carefully look at the leather seats and be sure you are OK with any character lines there, check that the seat heat and vent work and without noise. Run the Heater/AC through all its modes.

If it has the leather dash be sure it is not bubbling. Mine was and I didn't catch it. I think this should have been taken care of by the dealer after reading what a certified vehicle is supposed to entail. Also check and make sure its been serviced. Filters etc. Don't take the dealer's word for it. I don't think the hood was lifted on my "Certified" vehicle. This dealer will never see a dime of my money again. If you can check the paint under fluorescent lights. They tend to highlight bad spots and scratches in the paint.

Bought mine in January of last year and continue to be in love with it. It's a joy to drive. I did get the V8 and I have not driven a V6.

My only problem has been the phantom unlocking of the door locks when I sit near it.
