Less head room with a sunroof ?

Dealer claims there the liner and/or roof is lower with a factory sunroof installed..

Dealer didn't have what I wanted with a sunroof on a 2011-2013 so I think he was trying to get me to buy a non sunroof one .
I am 6'4" and he said I would lose head room ?

The sunroof headliner is lower than a non-sunroof to make space for the sunroof assembly. I am not sure what the exact dimensions are, but the dealer is correct.

I am 6"2' and had no discomfort driving a Pano roof model. Don't know about a std sun roof model. test drive all 3 before you part with your dough.

I am 6'4" also and I have way more head room in my 2014 Summit with the panoramic sun roof than I had in my 2006 Limited GC with the standard sun roof. I also have my seat back almost all the way up in a straight position.

6' 3" and panoramic sunroof here. No problems at all in the front seat, plenty of room above me. The rear seat is a little tight for headroom, I will admit, but the front is fantastic.

Usually you loose about 3 inches with a sunroof

I'm 6'3" and have headroom for days with my panoramic roof. I wouldn't worry about it much.

"nubby105" makes a lot more sense now!

I'm 6'0", no problems with sunroof either, BUT I attribute that to the seat's flexibility. It has enough range of movement to accommodate most heights (nubby or not!) regardless of sunroof option.

6'2" here and no probs with the pano. There is a lot of adjustment in the seat height too. Worst case scenario - sit on a couple of cushions and poke your head out of the roof

Just remember to test BOTH the std sunroof and pano roof models.
