Laredo Questions

Hello Everyone,

I just ordered a 2012 Laredo with the E Group. Security and Convenience, and Off-road Adventure 1 packages.

Does anyone know what tires should come on the truck?
Are the stock roof rails all black or does it have some chrome?

I am going based off the model I created on the site. Are there any options I should make sure are there before I walk off the lot?

Also on the VOTS site, I noticed it says I ordered a Laredo X but I only ordered a Laredo. Is that just standard, then they take out the leather?

Thanks in advance!!

Not sure about the Laredo X thing on the VOTS site but it will probably have Goodyear fortera tires on it and the roof rack rails are chrome.

Mine came with Goodyear Fortera tires but mine has the off road adventure 2 package. Mine is a Laredo E and it has the chrome roof rails.

It's a good solid simple truck that with less things to break it should last a long time. Post pics when it comes, I don't know about the Laredo X thing, mine was on the lot when I got it.

I didn't think you could get the Off road adventure 2 Package with a laradeo E Group.
That's what i was looking for. Glad to hear that!

I'm sorry I meant QT2. All these different 4wd acronyms and packages. No airlift.

I am upgrading from a '96 Cavalier. I feel like the truck is fully loaded compared to my old car lol. I see older Grand Cherokees all over the place. It seems like these trucks last forever as long as you take care of the necessities. I am also thinking about buying the lifetime bumper to bumper... Any thoughts?

I just picked up a Laredo last week with the E group. I can confirm chrome roof rails and Goodyear Fortera 245/70/17's.

Edit: not sure about the Off road package. That might get you OWL tires.

Goodyear. And no, you can't get the Off-road 2 Package with the Laredo E.

Its nice when it works but if you don't have it, at least you won't have to ever worry about it not working.

According to the site, Off-Road Adv I gets you 245/70-17 OWL tires. Wish they were BSW, but oh well.

First opportunity, I'm probably going to try to upgrade mine to 255/70-17 BSW's. I'm pretty sure I saw on another thread that they would fit.

BTW, we got the same options, except we added the Trailer Tow Group.

Ours is stone white with ORA 1 and trailer tow package as well. Simple set up but very capable vehicle.
