Just Another Manic Monday

Went to the grocery store at lunch today, parked out in the boonies like I always do. Lots of open spaces out there. Spent 2min in the store, came back out to my still running Jeep (it is already 95+ down here) put it in drive and heard a clunk followed by a midget basket slowly rolling away from the passenger side.....

Guess I'll call the insurance and stop by the body shop to see which route will be the easiest......Happy Mondays!

Ironically, I work at a grocery store, and that song is on the radio like every other second. I would be sad in your situation.

Thank you for getting the reference. Not many left out there with musical brains.
I am not overly upset, I pay for good insurance for a reason I guess. Lol.

Put one of those "ouch" bandaids on (even though you weren't wheeling).

I use to work in a grocery store , from what I remember the store usually eats the cost of the repairs.

I park far away too hoping to avoid contact .

Seeing your pics shows that anything can happen.

Just the hassle .....

Good luck.

I called and have the insurance person coming out today. If it is too much hassle to submit a claim, I can always just get a quote and have my agent write a check.

Either you park with everyone else and pray a door doesn't ding you or park far away and hope that a cart doesn't slam into your ride from traveling across the entire parking lot (happened to my '12 Explorer, before the WK2). I think I would rather deal with walking further...at least the cart is somewhat innocent.

I always park far away & never had a door ding yet. (knock on wood) I'd rather take my chances with the idiots too lazy to walk back to the cart return.

That is exactly why I park out there. To only have to dodge errant carts. A lot of people just push them in between vehicles closer up, but I guess I found someone that did it further out also. Oh well.

I hear you with people pushing the carts between vehicles. You hit the nail on the head with that tune. Good luck with the fix.
