Jump start battery pack for diesel GC (2015)?

I have jump start battery packs in all our cars, and they've saved my butt twice on both the minivan over the years. I doubt I'd ever need one for the GrChr, but just in case, I'd like to get one...

Unfortunately, I can't seem to get a straight answer from Jeep (neither FA "support", nor the dealership) as to the CCA (cold-cranking amps) requirements for a jump start battery pack for a diesel GC (2015 year model)... My guess is that a standard baseline wimpy car pack (300 CCA) would be nowhere near enough power to jump this bad boy...

One dealership parts dept said he "thinks" the battery is a 800 Amp battery! But would that be peak or sustained cranking amps?

Anyone have any info or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I have a POD brand jump pack. It's lithium ion and about the size of a phone 6 plus. It's made for diesels. I've jump started duramax trucks with dead batteries before with it.

Thanks, these look highly portable, but...

I was kinda hoping for one of the more standard packs that also includes an air compressor, like the other ones I have.

Anyone have experience with these with a 2014-15 GC?

The Jeep battery is 700CCA.

I have never been able to jump start it, and I've needed to several times for some weird battery drain issue that Jeep hasn't been able to figure out and somehow isn't covered by warranty, but that's another story.

I've hooked a brand new battery to the jump lugs under the hood and while it powered the jeep's electronics, there was not enough juice to do anything but make the start solenoid click. I've also hooked another vehicle to those lugs for 10 minutes with the same effect, I imagine i'd need to let that other vehicle sit connected in excess of 30 minutes to be able to jump it.

I suppose that one could disconnect the battery and hook the jump pack in it's place and 300A could work, but if I were you I'd test it before actually needing it one day.
