Jeep equivalent OnStar?

Is there such a thing? I know onstar is going to start selling kits for all vehicles, not just GM. I love the vehicle diagnostics, iPhone app, and most importantly the internal cell radio that seems to get signal wherever I go. I've gotten signal in a places where every cell phone on the trip was registering no service.

Thanks. I'll just have to wait for OnStar to begin their offerings in other vehicles.

See OP. Early this year they announced they were going to start offering install kits for all vehicles in the spring.

OnStar goes aftermarket, coming to Best Buy in spring

OP asked if there was a Chrysler branded onstar, meaning OE. The answer is no.

Yes you can retrofit when available.

I actually didn't mean OEM only. Sorry if that was confusing.

I'm surprised no one here with their shiny new WK2s haven't been sold this by any of your dealers.

Chrysler DOES offer an On-Star like equivalent.

its called Mopar EVTS (Electronic Vehicle Tracking System). It's Chrysler's OEM lo-jack system that also has a call button to access functions and features similar to the services On-Star offers, only Mopar contacts you through your cell phone instead of the vehicle itself.

It also has online tracking (if a spouse is driving it) and will call up to 3 listed numbers if the vehicle is stolen and driven (or towed) more than 1 mile without the key. Best of all, its transferable to a new vehicle if you buy a new car/sell your old one.

http://www.mopar.com/accessories/evts.html

I had this installed in my '11 Wrangler and quite like it, even though I have a droid with GPS, its nice in real SHTF situations.

Jeep garage:
2011 Jeep Wrangler JK - 33" BFG KM2s, 2.5" RC BB, ARB bumper, IPF 900XS, Superwinch EPI 9.0, AEV Snorkel
1995 Jeep Wrangler - 4 cyl, 2.5" lift, BFG AT 30s, Ford 8.8, SYE+CV, AX15 swap, ARB snorkel, Aussie locker + loads more - sold
1978 Jeep CJ-7 - 304 V8, TH400 auto and quadratrac
2007 Jeep Liberty - Mother's Jeep, BFG ATs and....mud?

Thanks!

I didn't know Mopar even offered this or I would have gotten it installed before I picked mine up.
