Why not just use it through bluetooth?

It sucks using Bluetooth. If you skip songs it gets choppy and kinda skips

Pick the album you want. Set play. Turn the phone off, it will work fine. Strange but true!

I experienced the same iphone choppiness over bluetooth. I found two solutions online, one being a software update to the head unit and the other was to upgrade the iphone to ios 6 if you haven't already. I ended up doing the update and installing ios6 at the same time when I was dealing with the problem so I'm not sure which really fixed it but it works flawlessly now. No skipping or choppiness whatsoever.
