I'll check it out when I get in it after work. Would be happy to be wrong. This is still a problem for the 14 owners. It might be a problem for charger/300 owners too. I traded an 11 charger for the 11 GC and the charger key was a rectangle. There was no place to put it in the car.

I am wrong about the 11 GC. You can put the key in. I haven't tested it but I hope if you turn it to acc it'll stay on forever.

We had the same problem at the drive in. Was so annoying to turn it back on all the time and my kids weren't happy it kept shutting off. Would love a solution!

Batteries in cars are very small (and light) these days. I ran one down in less than two hours at a NASCAR race. I wouldn't go to a drive in without a power source/jumper.

We watched two movies back to back and no problem with battery run-down. It did stink hopping out a bunch of times to turn acc back on

I'm just jealous you have a drive in theater. There hasn't been one in my area for 35 years or more.

There is a setting for how long the radio stays on but I think it's for how long it stays on after you turn the engine off, you know, before you open the door. I don't think its for ACC.

You could change this setting to the max minutes, key to on, turn on radio, key to off, and you'd have radio longer. Wouldn't work with the liftgate open I don't think.
