Isn't after market parts installation effect your factory waranty?

Aftermarket parts only affect the warranty if the dealer or manufacturer can prove that they are the cause of failure. For example, if you install HID lights, and then you have problems with your radio, the dealer could claim the cheap HID ballasts are causing electrical fluctuations, but unless they can prove it, they still must cover the radio repair. However, if you install HID lights then go to the dealer to claim the lights don;t work, well, of course they won't warranty that!

I tried but couldn't get a company to send me the right fitting, I kept getting what must have been for the WK.
