Esc on

Today my 2014 turn on the esc light and it wont turn off.

The dealer said that they do not find any code and that
they tested and everything was fine. It have only 256 miles on it and two weeks, I told them that if Im going to have problems I want that they change the unit. They said everything was fine and that cannot be change if they dont find anything. The light now seems to be working fine. Does any one has this problem.

Was just getting to that.
My take
Your dealer service dept. should be able to sort this out.
If not you need a new dealer.
This system should always work correctly.
Is a very interrelated system.

You definitely need to see another dealer. The operation of the ESC system is a safety related issue. Your dealer blowing you off like that should be reported to Chrysler Group Customer Center (877) 426-5337. It may be something as simple as a malfunctioning dash light, or a serious failure of the system, but it needs to be resolved. By the way, is your vehicle a Cherokee or a Grand Cherokee? The reason I ask is that this is a Grand Cherokee forum.

XJ Cherokee forums can be found here: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f114/
Maybe the '14 model year needs to have some dedicated threads started.

That being said, the '14 Cherokee has been designated the KL, replacing the Liberty. http://www.jeep.com/en/history/

It would help those trying to help you if you posted accurate information about which vehicle you own on your public profile.

Today my Grand Cherokee ESC light stay on again for like an hour or more, when I turn it off and on again the light work normally, I went to the dealer and ask them to change the unit and they refuse, also they said that if the light is not on they cannot check the vehicle.

I,m very frustrade with this problem.

^^^ - Is there another dealer available? If there is, I recommend that you go to them, explain the problem, and ask them to fix it.

He's in Puerto Rico, probably only one dealer there. To the OP, call Chrysler and escalate your claim.
