Oh wait, you have the 70th anniversary right? that has holes in the seats and I'd be willing to bet its probably possible to bolt the "fan" in there somewhere and wire it up yourself to force air though the perforations.

If you want the OEM look, the ventilated seats also have a different wiring harness and AC control panel. #17 below is the seat blower. You may need to take some time to go through the parts book and order piece by piece, or kludge something nice up. Everything you need, like a different cushion, is not obvious.

Hi, a different but related question on "cooled seats".

It's hot in Texas. Can anyone comment on the effectiveness of these "cooled seats" vs not having them? Speaking to the factory option...

I like them; no sticky shirts or wet backs on the leather

It's extemely hot and humid in Georgia and all I can say is wow. Not sure I can ever do without these ever again. On a hot day go walk around the dealer parking lot and request a test drive in one that has this. Report back.

I live in Plano, and I'm telling you these seats are worth the price of admission. They were a lifesaver this summer.

That's awesome guys. I was so wanting to hear you tell me they actually helped! Because one big gripe I have in my current Tahoe is the leather gets sticky and I can just never get my butt to cool down, even with the a/c on max, my back and rear still get sweaty. LOL!

Looking forward to the new JGC!
