Cladding question

I have a 2014 GC limited...I HATE the black cladding. I would have bought the Altitude but they weren't released yet when I bought mine. Anyway, my question is.. if I color match the cladding will it look okay? because it has some texture. Is the altitude/overland cladding the same material that is just painted?? Thank you.

I am almost certain it is the same material which has just been painted. It is the main reason I like the Overland vs the Limited. I would be concerned about the paint sticking if done aftermarket. I wonder if you could buy the parts prepainted from Jeep.

The Altitude has smooth cladding, its as smooth as the body. NO texture.

I don't know what the texture looks like on the limited but my '14 altitude is 'perfectly' smooth, same as the body panels around it.
