Check My Logic Please

Been lusting after GC for a while. Narrowed down choice to 2013 Laredo Hemi Leather Hitch 4x4

My logic is:

2013 - Most issues cleaned up from last model revision. Engine and tranny have been around a while.

Laredo - I really don't want Nav, heated seats, etc...more stuff to break when the car gets older.

4X4 - Use occasionally (rarely)...is it more trouble than it is worth?

So I want reliable, powerful, comfortable...any insights would be appreciated.

sounds logical to me, and being from florida 4wheel drive is certaintly NOT a must unless you're planing on taking it off-road.

Only potential concern is execution....How many '13 Laredo X's (hemi) are out there?

Are you paying cash for it? If not get a 14.

I think your concerns are unwarranted and 8spd and v6 are great.

You'll have just as much or more wrapped up in the 13 with the difference in the interest rates.

14 will be new and have warranty etc etc

MY15 are already on lots...buying a MY13 pretty much means used if you can find what you want. Not a problem if you are intending that.

Sound's pretty good but why would you buy a Laredo with leather instead of moving into a Limited?

For 2014 and beyond, you cant order a Laredo with a V8..you have to move up to the limited at least...so a new version of what I want is 41K A used 2013 is 32K..So there is some advantage even with the cons you describe.

Yeah, that's probably true. Going a year or two old is going to limit your choices for sure.
