A.C. always on?

What's with the a.c. light always being on? If I turn it off it just seems to come back next time I start it up. It's winter! Lol

The A/C is not just for cooling. It dehumidifies the inside air. On my 2008 Grand Cherokee if the climate control is set to defrost/blow on the windshield the A/C is on by default. Check and see, and hope that helps.

+1

Down to about 32*F the A/C Compressor will run to dehumidify the air. This makes the defroster work much better than it will without it.
