Hey Jackal I love your jeep! Looking at your profile, how were you able to get ORA2 in a Laredo,, I thought that was only available for Overlands.

You can get ORA II on a Laredo. It include QL Air Suspension and Tow Group IV package. It's $2125. It includes Quadra Drive II, skid plates and tow hooks as well. You might have to select the HEMI engine to get it.

Thank you. I plan on RRO super sliders, the RRO hidden winch mount that they are still working on and a roof rack. And I am sure so more toys later on. Maybe some performance toys if any ever come out.

Thanks!! Stay tuned for more mods (after my Colorado backpacking trip in a month; that's where my fun money is going currently) this summer.

Jackal, I just read through your whole thread and I like your setup man! With the side trim removal, lift, tires, and blacking out the emblems/chrome, you need to get out of my head! I was thinking of pretty much the same mods on my stone white WK2 for a sort of "Stormtrooper" look. It's too bad the plasti-dip isn't cleaning up like you'd hoped. That seems to be the biggest problem with painting anything flat/matte.

I really like your wheel/tire/lift setup. Did you happen to take any pics with those tires but no lift? I would like to see how it looks without the lift. What are you using for your spare? Do you ever feel like the front tint is in your way while off-roading trying to spot obstacles?

Looking forward to seeing the American Flag decals!

Thanks, Chris. The American Flags are already on it page 5 half way down. The pictures of it post tires/wheels, pre-lift are on page 1 second post. As for the Plastidip. It isn't too bad. There are some very slight remnants of bugs and road grime after washing but nothing bothersome. It bothers me no more than the faint scratches in clear coat in some areas from branches and hand washing it. I am leaving it on until I figure what I want to do. It can always come off.

Have you seen the WK2 owner here that has his modded like a Storm Trooper? It is saweet.

Is it worth removing the chrome pieces from around the windows? Is there anything underneath them? Worth painting?

I have no idea. I would like to but I am not ready to take on that task unless it is just like the door pieces. If you find something out, let me know!
