I like Alice...you sure you want to give up the luxury for a JK? After riding in my buddies JK (stock), I'm glad I went with the GC. I mean unless you plan on doing Moab or trails all the time and are going to make it a dedicated trail rig, then I could see it. But as a daily driver, no way man!

Jump up to a 15' when they come out if you're going to do anything!

A Laredo isn't luxury to me. It's just a 4x4 SUV. I am more impressed with its off-road abilities even more so after my trip. But I want to do more. My goal in a few years is to join the guys on wayalife and do a JK Experience trip. I have driven JKs stock and lifted. Yesterday I drove a 2012 with 35s and a Rubicon Express lift and it drove well. At least not bad enough to sway me away. 2014+ I do not like as much as 2011-2013 regarding the WK. I have virtually hit the limit on what I can do it and with it and I am now bored with it. Time to move on to bigger and better(to me) things.

I am back in a jeep after selling my wk2 back in october, this time I bought a JK unlimited the ride in not a comfy as the wk2. Two weeks old and 1500 miles I have yet to complain about the ride. I Added 33's LT load range D and teraflex 1.5 in. performance lift and its stiffer than stock but still not as bad as the last BMW I owned. I think you will be really happy with the change!

Awesome dude! I'm looking for a JKUS. Just can't find one I like enough that is cheap enough. The misses wants it either cheap anough stock so I can add tires and wheels or higher and come with tires and wheels. And it has to have 3.73 gears not 3.21.

I was looking used but man I couldn't find any used for a fair price so I ended up buying it new. I paid 31.5 and I'm in it 34.5 after my lift and wheel/tire setup. Yes the 3.73 gears are a must I would hate not to have them. But good luck on the search, hope you can find one you love.

Not bad at all! I'm looking for less than $30K total (with or without aftermarket wheels and tires), 2012+ less than 40k miles with 3.73 gears. Planet Ford actually has a nice 2012 with 39k miles for 28,900 with rubicon express lift, 35s and mickey thompson wheels with extended warranty but they only wanted to give me $19,000 for mine!!!! We literally walked out immediately. Unbelievable. Total slap in the face with that BS offer.

Yes I agree with what you are doing. From the posts that you have you need a more capable 4X4 the WK2s are fantastic trail riders but any kind of damage to them is costly and your limited on lifts as you said. also I don't care how good someone Thinks they are accident happen when off roading. tire slides off a 10" rock and BOOM land on the cast aluminium suspension $$$$$ not to mention good luck finding a quick replacement. And for a B*#@H Slap that you are going to take from the trade in you got to Strip it down to stock to try and recoup some cash for your next Build Thanks for your Threads and Posts you have been a lot of help to me and I am SURE Many others

You'll love the lifted jk. Only reason I got rid of mine is so I didn't get divorced. Lol
