Took them all day from open to close. Read the first page regarding what they, presumably, broke. It was cheap because essentially the kit is just spacers.

Were there any other lifts that you could have used/ thought about using?

Last question: Want to trade?

Thanks. I would actually consider a trade...if I had another vehicle. Why do you want to trade yours?

I think there are only two lifts available for the WK2 right now. Do a search, the thread on the lifts should be in the first few pages because it was recently discussed. I have been happy with the RRO lift and it was very affordable. I know there are larger tire and wheel combos you can do but cannot remember. There are several more guys on here with lifted WK2s, mine just happens to be at the top this week. Check out MaineJeep, rpoverland, Big50, Mojo, TheSiltSurfer, vba, dirtytires (i believe he has a lift), and maybe a couple others I am forgetting. I plan on going up a tire size next time.

Still working on the 265s. Haha. about half way through them. I always update my build thread anyway. I do anxiously await moving up to 275. Maybe 285 but I highly doubt a 285 will fit without modding. You thinking of doing that size?

Nice!! I love that green. The same green that I have! Woohoo! 285 looks good, so if they fit then I will probably get them also on my 17s. Not that wide though.

I know this is easy to forget and easily confuseable when American measurements start with the height, but 285 is actually the width of the tire. The second number, say 70 is what the height is in relation to the width. So for a 285/70, the height of the tire would be 70% of 285, which comes out to 199.5mm, or 7.85 inches. This is just the height from outer rim to outer tire. With 17" inch rims, this comes out to a 7.85+7.85(tire)=15.7"+17"rim=32.7" overall.

Right. I have always known that but I just cannot get it that way out of my head. I know what I need to up here *knocks on head*

I didn't know the equation for that. Much appreciated.

That equation took me about a week to find months ago. I wish more people knew it. It was a frustrating week for me for sure until I figured it out... lol

Ordered the KN CAI today. Also the Gibson exhaust is still on back order so going on 2 months since ordered. Quadratec said only two are inbound and I have one of them so if anyone wants one when they come in you better order it!

Also cleaned up first post in the thread. Now every mod/anything done do it has its own link.

Fed Ex screwed up again in not delivering the 77 Series CAI to the correct location but I got it anyway. Took about an hour. Had the battery disconnected. For the record, I did not buy this to increase MPG. I bought it for quicker acceleration and adding a nice growl to the engine which it did. I was quite impressed. Now the exhaust needs to come in from back order and hopefully Alice will run a little better. Bought it for $215 with free shipping. Hard to beat since most places had it for just under $300 with shipping. I will try and get a good video of it. Most CAI/ exhaust vids are cheesy and don't accurately record the sound. I will see what I can do. The hood seems to hit the weather stripping so hopefully not too much hot air will get in. I am already considering (researching) adding sheet metal to the existing shroud to help with that.

I totally should have invited you over or meet up at your place to watch!

I always forget to invite friends to help and by help I mean them watching me work.

Anyway, yea man you should. Of course you have the V8 but I saw a couple decent videos on YT. Worth looking into! When my exhaust comes in, wanna help? Like actually help? I may need it since I have never done one.
