426 Hemi

Latest issue of Hot Rod has an article about the 426 Hemi. Great article and interesting piece on the 32v heads Chrysler developed in response to the Ford 427sohc back in the mid 60's. Engine was never built but they did have the parts for at least one. NASCAR was a lot more fun back then when the manufacturers raced engines they designed and developed unlike today where NASCAR does the design and development.

There is an interview in the same issue with Ralphie what's his name heard or SRT and he basically confirms a supercharged Challenger.
