2wd WK2 vs 4wd WK2...

Taking tires out of the equation, does a 4x4 sound different, road noise-wise?
I notice more on our new 4x4. It has the GY forteras. 2wd has the Latitudes.
Is the road noise due to the forteras, or just due to it being a 4wd?

Road noise would be mostly the difference in tires. You may get more "gear" type noise/whine from the transfer case or front axle, however.

Some people seem to have an issue with road noise. I have never driven a vehicle recently where road noise has been an issue.

I drive the 4wd with studded winter tires and don't really have an issue with road noise. I can't understand having an issue with summer tire road noise?

Sorry I can't help.

Put some BFG KM2s on the JEEP. Then you'll have some road noise.
