$235,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Hennessey Performance is offering a twin-turbocharged 805-horsepower limited edition of the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8.

Now thats some serious HP for all your 4 wheeling adventures.

Ive seen this in previous thread~NOT for off road. Its dropped and has a cheap looking Hennessy leather & their usual gimmicks. For that price you could have a ZR1, or skyline and a fully built baller 4wd prerunner truck. I'm sure it's fun to drive tho but not worth the $krill.

Better idea
New Jeep SRT8 at most full retail $65,000
Pay someone for supercharger upgrade $25,000 including trans upgrade, wheels and tires etc, more leather and whatever you can dream up and you can have 600+ HP and a pretty dependable and streetable machine. Do it right and it will be a very quick sleeper.

Take the remaining $135,000 and get a few other new cars, trucks and motorcycles!
Henneesy can keep the nameplate for that profit margin.

If Hennessey actually does the work and doesn't part out your truck while it's in their shop...

A good friend of mine who owns a Mopar performance shop in northern California just finished correcting one of Hennessey's disasters. What was supposed to be a phenomenal rig was basically the customer's worst nightmare. You can check it out here: http://sinisterperformance.com/blog/?p=372 If you are interested in building a high performance Hemi, Ian at Sinister Performance is your guy.

^Definately not the first Hennessey build I've heard going horribly wrong. You would think for that kind of money, you'd get the best service/products in the industry.

Like I said in the previous thread on this subject...
Hennessey has been known for some shady dealings. I would not give him one dollar to do anything.
Besides, $235k for a Jeep - really?
