2016 model thoughts/feelings

I'm trying to see how many people have picked up a 2016. I should be getting mine by the end of this week or early next week. How do you like the new shifter? And how about the updated uconnect, and other little quirks? Please chime in, thank you!

I bought a '16 GC Overland 2 weeks ago. I can't compare to a '15 because I never owned one. I did test drive, and while I'm sure I would've got used to the shifter, I really did not care for it. The '16 shifter just feels better to me. And the uconnect is very nice, I had a '13 Wrangler with uconnect and it is night & day better than the Wrangler, and I uconnect in the Wrangler.

What update did they do on uconnect? I'll try and see if I can shed any light there

Apparently there's the drag and drop and the Siri function. Mine has given me nothing but problems with slow navigation and response time. I guess I will find out once my buyback process is complete, which is taking literally forever.

Yes the drag and drop feature is nice to setup all your favorite function for one touch access. I haven't figured out how to drag an icon from one screen to the next however. i.e., the app's function has icons stretched across 3 screens and I can't figure out how to get my favorites on the same screen without dragging them down to the menu bar, changing screens, then dragging them back up.

Anyone?

Hey Blkfenders,

Have you brought this to the attention of your servicing FCA dealership?
