2014 Key Fob on 2011

Hey Guys,

This might be somewhat of a weird question but I was wondering if the newer (2014) key fobs would work on the older GC's. Obviously that's if all the internal workings were switch.

Has anyone ever tried this or have any idea if I may work?

I doubt they work, but it's certainly possible. Do remember that fobs can only be programmed once and it must be done by a dealer...unfortunately, that also means it's a very expensive experiment if it doesn't work.
