Well...had the car a month to the day and was involved in a MVC.

I was cited for running a red light. I did a right turn on red and it appeared my lane was clear and it ended up not being.

No one was injured thankfully, we all walked away.

It's in the hands of a great body shop, should get an estimate tomorrow.

Yes that does suck... Was it enough to set off the air bags? On a vehicle that new I would insist on OEM parts a lot of times the insurance companies will want to use aftermarket because they are cheaper.

No airbag deployed.

They said since its so new they won't be using aftermarket parts.

First estimate comes in at $10,000...but that is based on a 2013 model since they do not have any parts or information yet for the 2014...so the price is going to go up from there...but that is the VERY rough estimate...hopefully will get a better estimate at the end of the week.

So we will see...I think it's going to be higher honestly but they wanted to touch base with us.

We have been pretty happy thus far, hope it keeps going smooth.

Your biggest issue is likely going to be getting the parts to fix it. My '14 limited was broken into in early june and the inside passenger door panel was torn and damaged. Part won't come in until July.

Ouch. It's a good thing no one was injured. Good luck on your repairs.

That's basically what the body shop guy told is but no timeline yet.

Glad you're ok. Plan on at least a month or longer for a complete repair. Mine was three weeks due to parts being back ordered for my 2012.

I would say a month and a half.....gl.

No update yet but they told us that it's very up in the air and they don't even want to speculate at this point.
