2014 Interior lights slow

Every once in while when I open the door the interior lights don't come on until about 5 seconds after the door is open. Normally as soon as I put my hand on the handle the lights will fade on, but every once in a while I open the door and its dark for about 5 seconds. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks

Yep me too. Annoying but I'm not too concerned about it.

I've had my Summit for almost 8 months and I noticed it did this today. Boy, the 2014's certainly have all kinds of electrical gremlins running around in them. Not that I ever keep a vehicle longer than the factory warranty, and this vehicle certainly won't change my mind. That's for sure.

So it sounds like some others are having the same issue. Maybe it will end up being another tsb with a software flash?

Interior light slow to come on

I have posted about this before but was just wondering if anyone has this issue or has had it resolved. Sometimes when I unlock the door using the touch handle the interior light don't come on until about 5 seconds after the door is opened. Has anyone experienced this?

It's happened to me a couple of times. Seems like the computer is slow to wake up and send signals around... No resolution but also something I haven't made an effort to address or even figure out a way to replicate.

Happens on mine once in a while. I don't even bother to mention it to the dealer since I'm positive they will say they never heard of the problem. What annoys me more is that the vehicle requires 4 clicks (instead of 2) of the keyfob to operate the liftgate. My vehicle is coming up on 1 year old soon and Chrysler has known about this problem for 11 months now and they still don't have a cure.

Exactly what I was about to post. Happens to me sometimes but I'm not worried about it and who knows if they could even figure out how to fix it. Hey at least they have never totally failed to turn on.

Better late than never right?

Interior lights

I have posted about this before but just wondering if anyone has had it corrected. Sometimes when I get in the jeep using the touch handle to unlock the interior lights don't come on until about 5 seconds after the door is opened. Has anyone else had this on a 2014 or had it corrected?

My question is why are you continuing to make the same thread?

Thus, your three (3) threads on the same, exact topic have been merged.

Thanks.. I just could not seem to find this thread. I am just wondering if anyone has gotten a resolution to this or the four clicks to open the tailgate?

There should be a link at the top of the page that says "my threads" or just go to your profile and you can find a link there.
