2014 Grand Cherokee Auto Start App?

Hi everyone,
I'm new to the thread but I'm pretty close to purchasing a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit edition. I have learnt about the Auto Start from the Key Fob but I was wondering if there are capabilities for Auto Start from an App? Also I understand there is an "App Store" but would like to know what Apps are in there? Please let me know about Auto Start App and if there are any fees associated with it.

Thank you

Yep, it's called the Uconnect app, I've used it several times now and while theres a 2-5 min delay, it does work.

The Uconnect app works great from my android phone and it does cost $24.53 per month (including tax) after the free 6 months are up. I have not found any other apps. This $24.53 also gets you the 911 assist plus they can track your vehicle if stolen. Might be some other services that I'm not aware of.

You can lock or unlock the car, remote start it or kill the remote start and set off the panic alarm if you want. Comes in handy but I wish it could tell you more info like which doors were open (if any) or the fuel level of the vehicle. That would be cool

Oh and it uses GPS and will NOT work if you are moving. Sucks if you are in a friends car or a train or a bus.
