Just curious to see what others are temping at their center vents. Mine maxes out at 48 degrees and seems it should be somewhere between 38-42 as the max temp.
Ive had GM cars my whole life and never had this problem of weak ac's.
Is this normal for these Jeeps?
Thanks in advance for your responses.

Do you have the AC

on manual and not auto? Mine will cool my 2012 down at idle when the temp is in low 100's and dew points approaching 80.

All automotive AC systems are effected by outside temps and humidity. If it's 90 degrees outside a properly functioning AC system will drop the air temps between 25-35 degrees depending on the humidity level.Other things like speed your driving among other things can also effect AC performance.Your AC will work better while driving 65mph then at 15mph or stopped in traffic.Leaving the recirc mode on will also lower performance after some time.If you have a cabin air filter and it's clogged that also will effect the AC performance.

So depending on all conditions 48 degrees coming out of the center vents maybe where it should be given the conditions.

I have three Jeeps: 2008 JKU, 2013 WK2, and 2013 JK ... Ice cold A/C in all three. Have no idea what temp they run at and don't really care as long as they're cold. Even running in the high 50s is cold enough and it hits triple digit weather here in CA.

No problems here and I have black leather interior and my Trailhawk keeps nice and cool and day long in 100+. Sounds like your AC is working as designed according to the spec's posted. You are only talking 6-8 degree's difference here..But I have noticed the GM's AC is generally a cooler running AC...
