2012 rear flip glass

New to my 2012 GC Ltd, noticed a lot of dust / dirt getting behind the actual glass edges onto the rear hatch door like where the gas struts and flip glass hinges are that hold up the flip glass

Seems like there should be an outer gasket to seal off that area

There is an inner gasket to seal the flip glass to the hatch opening

Normal?

Not normal?

Normal... There's only an inner seal for the glass.

Mine is a mess too, I don't use the glass often but when I remember to it's usually caked lol.

Any tricks on cleaning under the glass? I tried spraying around the edges but, still didn't get all the dirt out. Seems bad to wipe out the dirt scratching the finish
