So the question remains, for those of us with Laredos - can DRL's be enabled on these vehicles? What does a fleet vehicle have (or a Canadian GC, for that matter) that enables DRL's? There are some of us that would like to have DRL's

I like the look of the DRL's on the Jeep. I just wish I could disable it from turing one lamp off while the turn signal is active. It makes it look like the bulb has already burnt out, let along making them prone to burn out from all the on off use.

I doubt they will burn out any faster than other bulbs (or at least hpe they don't).

My current vehicle has DRLs where one blinks when I indicate a turn. They've both been going strong for over 5 years.

That makes me feel better about them not burning out so quick. Still wish it was symmetrical and didn't turn it off when using the blinker, lol.

I spoke with the Service Guy at my dealership and asked about pulling the two fuses to kill the DRLs. He said that was no problem, but to bring it in and he'd hook it up to the computer and shut them off for me if I want. Don't know if it's possible, but I told him that I thought you couldn't turn them off from the computer and he said he could, so I will give it a try. Anyone else heard this?

Nope but then hadn't inquired either. Personally pulled the fuses. Took two minutes.

Pulled over because of blinker turning off DRL lamp

I wish for this as well--I got pulled over this morning when I was making a turn with the DRLs and blinker on. The cop thought the headlight was burnt out and gave me a repair order even after I explained that's how it works and he could see the headlights were both on while in Park. Arghh!
